INDONESIA – PEB Steel has recently been successful in offering solutions to its customer by building an NPK fertilizer warehouse in Indonesia. Due to a very severe corrosive environment, PEB has offered an outstanding material, Silver180 (made in Japan by Nippon Steel). This Silver180 steel coated material has a superior coating layer of Zinc, Aluminum, and Magnesium. Silver180 was used for the purlins and girts to withstand the very severe corrosive conditions from the NPK fertilizer. The primary structures are well-protected by a coating of 3-layer epoxy primer and finish paint from top quality paint suppliers. With the attribute to withstand severely corrosive environments, these superior materials can enable PEB’s customers to streamline the manufacturing process.
Construction is expected to be completed by end of 2015.
